Born into a family of entrepreneurs, Carl-Phillipe has always been immersed in engineering, product development and manufacturing, and it was one thing led to another when he caught the bug for these fields, a passion that led him to pursue a career in engineering. His time with two companies driven by a desire to take positive, sustainable action on global issues greatly inspired him to follow the same path with Devocean.

François is passionate about seeing something grow and nurturing it; a characteristic that translates into Devocean. Our Director of Operations brings together and encompasses the whole of Devocean and its production efforts.

Sales and Business Development Director
The ocean has attracted Renaud since he was very young. He studied tourism and wanted to discover the world’s seas. He finally moored in Gaspésie, driven by a strong desire to contribute to the responsible development of his community. Devocean’s mission instinctively led him to follow the company’s development, even before joining the team.

Luc-Olivier Noël
Lead developer
Luc-Olivier has always been driven by his thirst for challenges and his desire to contribute. As a high-level lead programmer at Devocean, he works with team members on key projects, with an environmental mission in mind: to protect marine mammals while solving real-life problems.

Assembly technician
François is a versatile member of the Devocean team, specializing in the practical application of concepts and the management of manual production. He is responsible for buoy assembly, design problem solving and workshop supervision. His diverse background, from aircraft maintenance to marine biology, brings a wealth of experience to the team.
Ariel Hotz-Garber
Developer
Ariel has a unique background. After studying human sciences, philosophy and translation, he turned to programming. Seduced by Devocean’s environmental mission, he now contributes to key projects for the company.
